Site Museum campo Alaska

Museum that lodges in its corridors enough history that resides from the 20s of the last century. We arrive at the top
of the Rumorosa where the smell of pine nuts and the wind gusts will give you a warm welcome.

Inside, the picturesque museum exposes a collection
of photographs and archaeological pieces that print the history
of this beautiful region, to illustrate to all visitors about what
used to be the beautiful village of Rumorosa in those years.

Today this museum is an enclosure dedicated to the exhibition
of samples of regional history. Several years ago, during
the governorship of Abelardo L. Rodríguez, the museum used
to be the Government House and a military barracks. It is said
that the reason why they located the offices within this road
was due to the governor's taste for the warm climate
that represents the town.

In 2004, various institutions such as the CAREM AC Historical Corridor Association, the Rumorosa Autopista Trust (FIARUM),
the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH)
and the Baja California Institute of Culture joined forces to give life to this enclosure; this is how the Site Museum Campo Alaska
is created.
